Josie Campbell is a Los Angeles-based writer and filmmaker.

An alumni of Emerson College and the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre, Josie is a writer for TV, film, and comic books. She was the Head Writer for hit shows “She-Ra and the Princesses of Power,” and “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous,” as well as the Head Writer/Producer for the animated series, “My Adventures With Superman” (to air on Cartoon Network and HBO Max in 2023).

Josie’s prior writing credits include work for studios such as Dreamworks, Disney, Mattel, Sony, and Warner Brothers Animation; joke writing for comedians (and PromaxBDA Award Show hosts) Amy Schumer, Jay Mohr, and Norm Macdonald; and entertainment journalism for the Eisner Award-winning news site Comic Book Resources.

In the live-action space Josie has directed multiple short films, written and directed plays for the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and has written and filmed sketch comedy videos for UCB as well as comedy troupes in Boston and L.A.
