My Adventures With Superman, I Heart Skull-Crusher and more!

It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? I’ve been so busy, I had not realized I hadn’t updated my website ’til now — and boy, has it been a busy Cozy Josie year!

Season 2 of “My Adventures With Superman” is out NOW on MAX, and re-running on Adult Swim/Toonami. This season saw Supergirl, Brainiac, and a host of other huge villians and changes hit Metropolis. Check out the trailer below:

Speaking of Superman, if you’ve burned through the TV show and want more, I’ve got you covered: I’m writing the tie-in “My Adventures With Superman” comic book, coming out from DC Comics! The first three issues are out on Amazon and in comic book stores now. It’s a six-issue miniseries, and the next issues drop September 4th (issue 4), issue #5 on October 2nd, and the final issue comes out in November!

But my work over at DC Comics isn’t done! I am writing the ongoing “Shazam!” comic series, and starting this fall we are ALL IN! Yes, Shazam #16 is the start of us joining the All-In initiative, kicking off a story that both ties into what I’ve been doing for the past year, AND is a good jumping-on point for new readers with a new status quo! Watch this space for more info on the issues, coming out starting in October!

Finally this year I also got to bring readers “I Heart Skull-Crusher,” my original ongoing comic from BOOM Studios! Follow 18-year-old Trini as she tries to make her athletic dreams come true, and join her favorite sports hero playing her favorite sport…which just happens to be a murderous Thunderdome-meets-soccer bloodsport called Screaming Pain Ball, as Trini lives in the apocalyptic American Wasteland! Combining Mad Max, sports manga, and queer romance, pick up the trade paperback of the first five issues when it comes out this fall!
